Is being emo a crime? What in the world is emo anyway?
I am always being labelled emo. Because I’m a terribly pessimistic person. Because I get sad easily. Is it my fault that I suffer from borderline depression? That I ever had a doctor asking me if I need anti-depressants? Xanax anyone??!

As an aside, my teacher is pretty hot too. 
That was what my mum said when I told her I got a letter from MOE to go for an interview for a teaching position.
And yeah anyway, the interview is tomorrow morning and I’m freaking out. Not that I never went for an interview before. But I’m so unprepared coz they gave me only 2 days’ notice! And so I had to apply for last-minute leave and clear all my urgent stuff. Didn’t help that I had almost-whole-day meetings which ended at 6.30pm today.
And coming home on the MRT tonight, it struck me that I forgot to print out my payslip because MOE wanted it… Supposedly to calculate starting salary. Strange right? I mean I’m not even a confirmed teacher with them yet and they want to know how much I earn in my current job? Wtf?
Anyway, wish me luck. How bad could I be as a teacher?

Man… I’m running my first half-marathon in my first overseas running event in 6 weeks. And I’m soooo out of shape.

I was suffering from a pain in the butt since Wednesday. It was painful to even walk, and every time my leg contacted the ground I’d wince. I thought it was such bad timing because I had looked forward to WHR for weeks! But I figured, hey, although I can’t run, I could still volunteer my help! So I woke up early on Sunday, took the train from Clementi to Pasir Ris (zzz…), collected my singlet and tee and waved off the runners.
I took the bus for the first 2 stretches of the run, hopping off the bus to give bottles of water to the thirsty runners, taking photos and waving madly to runners from inside the bus (almost causing someone to trip when he took his eyes off the road for a moment… 
). We stopped at a Chinese temple first and was welcomed by a rousing lion dance.
