To The Home of Guinness!!! And a Meme

… or what used to be the home, if this is anything to go by.

Back to the issue at hand. After weeks of consideration, worries about money, some sleepless nights, and not forgetting many petty arguments, I have finally confirmed that I will be going to the UK in August. Take it as my long-delayed grad trip (15 months overdue); however, I will be travelling alone. And moreover, unlike other people’s grad trips, this is fully funded by myself <insert rant about parents and unfair treatment here>. I will be spending 3 days in London, and 3 days in Dublin, with a Muse concert squeezed in for good measure.

I’ll be staying in the same hostel as more than 20 other Musers (aka fans of Muse) in Dublin. We will be queuing up at the venue early so to ensure that we’re at the front of the pit. Goodness me, the madness. My Aussie mate and I are thinking of making a banner (or 3!). Someone suggested I bring a Singapore flag, just to show how far I’d travelled to catch a concert. However, I think there are restrictions on the display of the flag, am I not wrong? Whatever.

And London! So many things to see and to do! Do I check out the markets, the 1001 museums, the theatre, the changing of the guard, the parks, the shopping…??? Luckily I have 3 months to plan it all out. When you have only 3 days, you must use your time wisely.

I’m excited already!!!
